Kylw Wins Record 7th Ms. Interntional Crown

Iris Kyle of Cypress, Texas, continued her dominancy of the IFBB Pro League women’s bodybuilding division by winning wining the Ms. International crown for a record seventh time on March 1 at Veterans Memorial in Columbus, Ohio.

Kyle also won the Ms. International title in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. She did not compete in Columbus in 2012 due to injury.

For the win, Kyle took home $25,000 and a Tony Nowak Originals Champions Jacket.

Five-time winner Yaxeni Oriquen of Miami, Fla., finished second and earned $13,000. Oriquen was the Ms. International champion in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2012. Kyle and Oriquen have combined to win every Ms. International crown since 2002.

Debi Laszewski of Jupiter, Fla., runner-up in Columbus in 2012, finished third and took home $8,000.

Others in the top six included fourth-place Brigita Brezovac of Slovenia ($5,000), fifth-place Cathy LeFrancois of Canada ($3,000) and sixth-place Angela Debatin of Orlando, Fla. ($2,000).

Also competing in the 2013 Ms. International were Kim Buck of Newman, Ga.,; Tazzie Colomb of Metairie, La.; Elena Kavva of Greece; Jeannie Paparone of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Olga Puzanova of Russia.
