 Arnold Sports Festival Fencing Classic

Each year the Arnold Fencing Classic highlights the accomplishments of youth competitors who have months in advance to compete at The Arnold Fencing Classic.

The event annually welcomes former and current national champions of this Olympic sport including America’s most decorated fencer 6-time US Olympian Peter Westbrook. In 2009 America’s most distinguished fencers brother and sister Keeth and Erin Smart, and 2008 US Olympic Champions Mariel Zagunis, and Sada Jacobsen were in attendance.

The Arnold Fencing Classic features a regional youth circuit competition in foil, saber, and epee for competitor’s ages 7 through 14 years of age.

The Arnold Fencing Classic annually awards recognition to top fencers and in 2010 select participants may qualify for the 2011 Summer Nationals.
