2010 CROSSFIT GAMES OHIO SECTIONAL RESULTS
CrossFit Games, the ultimate test of fitness, will make its debut at Arnold Sports Festival in 2010 with a sectional competition for adults, interactive series of challenges for children and teens and a CrossFit Expo where attendees can learn more about the increasingly popular CrossFit events.
The CrossFit Games are a grueling two-day competition in which the world’s fittest athletes compete in a variety of workouts. The workouts, though, change each year and the details of them are not announced until the week of the event.
In 2010, the Arnold Sports Festival will host the
CrossFit Kids, to be held March 5-7 at the Arnold Sports Festival, will feature demonstration classes for three different age groups: CorssFit Kids Preschool (ages 3-5), CrossFit Kids (ages 6-11) and CrossFit Teens (ages 12-17). The CrossFit Kids area will be located in the Greater Columbus Convention Center and be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. The are will feature both interactive games and demonstrations and age-appropriate fitness challenges.
“We will have a festival feel to the event with continuous activities for the kids in attendance,” said Jeff Martin of CrossFit Kids. “We will have a variety of activities scheduled simultaneously as well as a team to answer questions and parents regarding the program’s benefits and goals.
