ASF To Honor Randy Couture In 2012

The Arnold Sports Festival will honor MMA legend Randy Couture at the 2012 Arnold Sports Festival.

Couture will make several appearances on the Arnold Fitness EXPO stage throughout the weekend, as well as being the main attraction at the annual MMA Workshop on Friday, March 2 in Hall C of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

“Randy has been a tremendous supporter of the Arnold Sports Festival for many years and we are honored to recognize his contributions at the 2012 Arnold Sports Festival,” promoter Jim Lorimer said.

Couture, a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, is recognized as one of the most decorated and most successful mixed martial arts fighters of all time. Couture was a three-time heavyweight champions, a two-time light heavyweight champion and was the first UFC fighter to hold championship belts in two divisions at the same time. He retired in 2010 with a career mark of 19-11.
