Julie Palmer

Julie Palmer is someone who sets her sights on a Goal and never – ever gives up.

Julie set her sights on placing in the top 3 in Columbus, Ohio at the 2008 Fitness International months in advance. She even went so far as to have her own customized tennis shoes created emboldened with a large “3”. Guess what?

Julie Palmer not only took 3rd …she grabbed center stage with one of the weekend’s most inspired performances while she sent out a big thank you her partner and trainer, Mike “Beefcake” Davies. Julie quickly announced “She’ll Be Back” in 2009 and she was - steadily moving up to 2nd place where she received $13,000 presented by Universal Nutrition and a trophy from BodyBuilding.com.

Julie Palmer is a favorite personality in the gym, on stage, and always with the kids who surround her. Julie is an in-demand RN at Columbus’s Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she performs her own special brand of medicine.

One of Julie Palmer’s #1 goals is inspiring others. In 2008, she presented several motivational talks to a large group of middle school Girl Scouts at Columbus’s COSI (Center of Science and Industry). She spoke with the girls about her approach to health, well-being, and the self direction and discipline that are required to attain professional status in any field, especially as a professional athlete, Personal Trainer, clothing designer, and motivational speaker. In 2007, Julie was distinguished as the recipient of the “Living Beautiful Award”.

Julie annually hosts her own NPC event, the NPC Julie Palmer Ultimate Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Showdown. This highly acclaimed show welcomes more than 120 competitors each year in Toledo, Ohio.

Clearly, Julie Palmer has safely ensconced herself as a leading promoter and athlete in women’s fitness.
